Quota Policy
The storage quotas on our hosting accounts work a little bit differently to most hosting companies you may be familiar with.
Our billing is based on the actual usage of your account measured in GB, not the maximum quota we set for your account.
We do support quotas. By default will set a 1GB quota on the domain itself to be shared between all website files and email accounts, as well as a 100MB quota on each individual mailbox.
However these limits are just there for your protection and can be increased at any time by request and at no additional cost. Remember, our billing is based on actual usage, not the quota.
For example, it's entirely possible to create 15 email accounts each with a 250MB limit on a 1GB domain.
Creating a new email account doesn't take up any space at all no matter what it's limit is set to. Storage is only consumed as email is received and stored, or when website files are uploaded.
We have designed our policy to provide customers with the room for growth they need whilst also ensuring that they don't start paying for it until they actually need to use it.
